Céline Moinet has been the super-solist at the Staatskapelle Dresden since 2008. Since her appointment, she has been regularly invited to perform with some of the world’s leading orchestras: London Symphony Orchestra, Gewandhaus Leipzig, Wiener Philharmoniker.
In addition to her distinguished career with the Staatskapelle Dresden, Céline Moinet regularly performs as a soloist. She has played the repertoire for oboe and orchestra with the Dresden Staatskapelle, the Prague Philharmonia, the New Japan Philharmonic at the Suntory Hall in Tokyo, the Kyoto Symphony Orchestra, the Kammerorchester Basel, the Hamburger Symphoniker, the Württembergisches Kammerorchester Heilbronn, the Dresdner Kapellsolisten, the Staatskapelle of Schwerin. In France, she is invited to play with the Lille National Orchestra, the Toulouse Chamber Orchestra, as well as at the Chamber Music Festivals of Colmar, at the Berlioz Festival of the Côte Saint André, “Clef de Soleil” in Lille.
Céline Moinet has been teaching since 2016 at the International Summer Academy of Music in Nice. Celine’s chamber music partners include German baritone Matthias Goerne, German pianist Florian Uhlig with whom she performs at London’s Wigmore Hall, the Johannesburg International Mozart Festival, and tours in Germany, China and the United States. than in South America.
Céline Moinet studied oboe at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique in Paris in the class of David Walter and obtained a First Prize in 2006. She then studied baroque oboe with Marcel Ponseele and Xenia Löffler. She was a member of the Gustav Mahler Jugendorchester under the direction of Claudio Abbado between 2004 and 2005 and solo oboe at the Nationaltheater-Orchester in Mannheim. Céline Moinet recorded for Harmonia Mundi her first records “Solo” (2012), and “Meditations” (2014) with harpist Sarah Christ and a disc “Schumann” (2017) for Berlin Classics with Florian Uhlig and Norbert Anger. His next Bach album is scheduled for 2019.
Céline Moinet is a professor at the “Hochschule für Musik Carl-Maria von Weber” in Dresden, and is regularly invited to give masterclasses all over the world.
