Pupil of Brigitte Engerer and Pierre-Laurent Aimard, talented pianist invited festivals recognized as those of Auvers sur Oise, Roque d’Anthéron, Festival Chopin de Nohant, Festival Saint-Denis, Pianofolies Touquet, Passionate about music in all its forms, David Saudubray plays with the same happiness in recital, with the Orchestra Les Siècles, four hands with Anne-Lise Gastaldi, two pianos with Romain Descharmes, in violin-piano training with Sarah Nemtanu or in quintet with the Ellipse Quartet.
As a curious musician, he likes to explore original musical universes: we could thus hear it in a production of Adventures and New Adventures of Ligeti with the ensemble Justiniana at the Operas of Lille, the Capitol of Toulouse, Paris Bastille. From 2008 to 2010, he participated for France2 in the recording of the music of the series “Au siècle de Maupassant”. In 2011, he was singing leader in Leos Janacek’s Le petite renarde clever (Opéra de Bordeaux, Opéra Bastille) and, in 2012, he is the pianist of the show “L’oreille de Proust” which combines texts played, piano and songs cabaret around the musical world of Proust.
To achieve this, David Saudubray followed a traditional and brilliant course: piano, chamber music and harmony at CNSMD in Paris, several competitions including Maria Canals of Barcelona in 2005, laureate of the Charles Oulmont Foundation in 2009 .
Board member, David Saudubray teaches piano at the CRR in Paris, as well as at the Paris / Boulogne department.
