Elena Kuschnerova is a Russian pianist born in 1959 in Moscow. She currently lives in Germany.
Elena Kuschnerova belongs to a family of musicians, and began playing the piano at five. She gave her first concert with a nine-year-old orchestra, and recorded Johann Sebastian Bach’s Piano Concerto in F minor for Radio Moscow with conductor Emine Khatchatouria.
It is noticed at the Central School of Music in Moscow, where she studied piano with Tatiana Kestner, also professor Andrei Gavrilov and Nikolai Lugansky. She continued her studies at the prestigious Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow with Sergei Dorenski.
Elena is forced to emigrate to Germany in 1992.
She quickly gained international fame and started a concert career, which causes it to occur in Western Europe, the US, South Africa and Japan.
