Eliane Reyes began playing the piano at a very young age, winner of the Cziffra Foundation (Senlis, France). She also performed at the Tibor Varga Festival (Sion, Switzerland), under the direction of Sergiu Commissiona and with the Royal Orchestra. from the Amsterdam Concertgebouw.
Trained by her mother, she then studied at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, then at the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel in the class of Jean-Claude Vanden Eynden, at the Berlin Künste Hochschule, at the Salzburg Mozarteum and at the National Conservatory of Paris Music under the aegis of Michel Béroff, Brigitte Engerer, Hans Leygraf and Jacques Rouvier.
Winner of several international competitions: 1st prize in Ettlingen, Germany; 1st prize of the Cervantes contest in Cuba; finalist of international competitions in Montreal, Clara Schumann in Düsseldorf, Maria Canals in chamber music etc … Eliane Reyes is a recitalist, soloist and chamber musician acclaimed by the press and the public.
Laureate of the foundations Rheinold Blüthner, Nany Philippart, Spes Solti and Vocatio, Eliane had the opportunity to be invited in recital by artists such as Martha Argerich or Vladimir Ashkenazy and to perform with Augustin Dumay, Ivry Gitlis, Misha Maisky or José van Dam.
His discography, featuring works by Nicolas Bacri, F.Chopin, Debussy C., Benjamin Godard, F.Liszt, Michel Lysight, D.Milhaud, Mr. Ravel, A. Eliane Reyes is currently professor of piano at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels and complementary piano at the National Conservatory of Music in Paris.
In 2016, she rose to the rank of Knight of the Order of Arts and Letters in France.
