Nikita Boriso-Glebsky was born in 1985 in the south of Russia. After a postgraduate degree at the Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow, he entered the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel in 2008.
He has performed with many Russian and European orchestras, such as the Mariinsky Symphony Orchestra, the Russian State Symphony Orchestra, the NDR Symphony Orchestra (Hannover), the Amadeus Chamber Orchestra (Poland), Lithuanian State Orchestra, under the direction of conductors like Valery Gergiev, Christoph Poppen, David Geringas, Yuri Simonov, Agnieszka Duczmal.
Nikita Boriso-Glebsky is a laureate of prestigious competitions, including the Tchaikovsky International Competition in Moscow (2007) and the Queen Elisabeth Competition of Belgium (2009).
Nikita Boriso-Glebsky regularly participates in renowned international festivals in Russia, Germany, Switzerland, Croatia, Austria and Italy. He plays on a Montagnana violin lent by a private patron of the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel.
He has an InBev-Baillet Latour scholarship.
