Pascal Bourgeois, first pianist, quickly became passionate about singing. From 1998 he performed at the Opéra de Rouen, then at the Paris Opera, the Opéra Comique and the Théâtre du Châtelet. He is also a member of vocal ensembles such as the Solistes de Caen and the Soloist group led by Rachid Safir, with whom he participates in festivals in Acanthes, Stuttgart and at Royaumont Abbey.
After winning in 2002 a second prize at the Professional Union of Masters of French Singing competition and having been a semi-finalist at the Voix d’Or tournament and finalist at the Mâcon international competition in 2003, he devoted himself to a solo career . His light lyric tenor, with the Radio France Philharmonic Orchestra, the Orchestra Les Siècles directed by François-Xavier Roth or the Klang-forum in Vienna, directed by Sylvain Cambreling, allows him to tackle a varied repertoire in oratorios of Charpentier, Bach, Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven or Rossini, Puccini, Berlioz, Dvorak, Stravinsky, Honegger and Malher.
He also plays Ferrando in Cosi Fan Tutte, Piquillo in La Périchole and supporting roles in Carmen, La Belle Hélène, Tristan and Iseut at the Rouen Opera, and the Landowsky Fool at the Mogador Theater with the Orchester de Paris. Pascal Bourgeois is regularly invited in prestigious festivals, in France (Berlioz Festival, International Festival of Vonnas) and abroad (The crazy Days of Tokyo, Istanbul …).
