Born into a family of Russian-Uruguayan musicians, Xenia Ganz started playing the piano at 5 and later entered Strasburg’s conservatory of music where she studied with Françoise Claustre and also played in a trio with her brothers.
After completing her studies at Dijon Business School, she moved to Berlin in 2007 to study under Norma Sharp, professor at the Hans Eisler conservatory. She took part in several masterclasses with Norma and Thimothy Sharp, Markus Brück, Thomas Michael Allen and Mark Schnaible.
It is with Dorabella’s role in Mozart’s “Cosi fan tutte” that Xenia Ganz opened the season 2015/2016 at the “Hauptstadtoper” in Berlin. In April 2015 she performed a solo opera gala concert with the “Orchestre d’Harmonie de l’Electricité de Strasbourg” conducted by Marc Schaefer in the “Palais de la Musique et des Congrès de Strasbourg”.
Xenia Ganz toured though Germany as second lady in Mozart’s “Magic Flute” with the Festspieloper Prag and sang in halls like Munich’s “Philharmonie im Gasteig”.
In June 2014, she sang the kitchenboy in “Rusalka » (Dvořak) in the Choriner Musiksommer at Kloster Chorin.
She appreciates particularly the oratorio repertoire and sang in june 2016 the mezzo part in « La Vita di Maria » from Nino Rota with the « Orchestre d’Harmonie d’Electricité de Strasbourg » in the Strasburg Cathedral.
She also has a great passion for the « Lied » Repertoire and gives concerts in differents festivals such as the “Schloss Weinzierl” festival in Austria etc…
